Hot head! The Spoor spider of the Namib Desert of southern Africa kills its ant prey by pinning its body to the hot sand- where it burns alive in less than a minute! The Caddo Native Americans of the southern plains greeted strangers by wailing and weeping. George the Giant, a 7 foot 3 inch sideshow performer from Bakersfield, California, can lie on a bed of nails with a 1500 LB weight on his chest!

Man, hot sand on your bare feet hurts. Glad I’m not prey of that interesting arachnid.

I’d like to see him do it with one nail….

Perhaps the Caddo knew what was coming. And that Spoor spider? It will probably be the first spider to learn how to use a magnifying glass on an ant.

Apparently just being a giant is no longer enough for today’s sideshow audiences. You also need to have a talent like the Miss America contest.
