We have two days to get ready to host Thanksgiving!
whose idea was it to have it at our house??
remember your tailgate party last month?
thanksgiving at my house!
eagles at dallas!
woo- hoo!
Large gatherings are usually pretty easy to pull off. Generally, all of the guests insist on bringing something. They probably have to make the turkey, but I’ve even had guests insist on bringing that. At that point, all the hosts have to provide are the chairs, tables, dishes, and drinks. And, of course, the cleanup!
aww – forget your American Thanksgiving. Come to Vancouver – Grey Cup week. Awards Banquet, various teams taking over different hotels to party and host fans, parade on Saturday, three nights of concerts (all double headers) Fan parade to BC Place – AND a football game on Sunday, with a shiny (105 year old) Cup to win.
[furry-faced grin] Wonderful comic Robb!!! Very real!++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Unfortunately, many things seem better at the time you volunteer than when the event draws near.

And the older kids are old enough to help out: one works in the kitchen whilst the other watches the twins, then trade off.
