I’m in DAV, and though I respect the VFW folks, I have some problems with their official policies; like to sign up you can’t be a Buddhist, or any religion that doesn’t believe in the God of Abraham. The American Legion has always been the right wingnuts of veterans groups.
But, today is about honoring all living veterans who served. Remember the living, and welcome our newer members home, and support them.
