Our dog does … well, what dogs do when you take them on walks. Anything close to a vertical surface will do including individual blades of grass. It amazes me how a 40 lb dog can have a bladder the size of a tanker-trailer.
Of course he sniffs everything – we call it pee-mail. Then after he adds his contribution he sniffs the spot again – we call that smell-checking.
He is also fond of sticking his snout out the window as we drive along at 55 mph. This is his version of speed reading.

I would prefer to roll on it. I have some great 2 weeks dead fox scent from a roadkill that I happened upon.
