I think the font is “Olde Monk”.

I’d say it probably was just drawn, because it looks to me like writting from the old carnival/circus posters.

water_moon: In the old days of hand-set type, it was called Barnum. Walt Kelly used it for P.T.Bridgeport’s lines.

Even though “vir” is the Latin word for “man,” the work is spelled “Vitruvian.” You’re welcome.
