Odd thought whilst reading this: for the non-supers amongst us, a cape is usually seen as a woman’s garment, but in the super world, capes are more often worn by men, e.g., Batman, Superman, a few of the ones from “The Incredibles” [R.I.P.]. Off the top of my head, I cannot think of a female super hero who wore a cape. Anyone?

emjaycee, the Scarlet Witch did/does: http://marvel.com/universe/Scarlet_Witch
I can’t think of a real woman who wears one. Only vampires and magicians wear them among non-supers.

I’d like a job where I could be a super hero, but I don’t want a job where I’m expected to be one.
