Did anyone see the video of the model who walked around NYC recently naked from the waist down? Some artists painted jeans on her and she walked around NYC trying to get people’s attention and see who would notice she was half naked. On the video, 2 people noticed. Rarely did anyone else make eye contact with her, though she was smiling and trying to make eye contact and even tried to talk to strangers. Perhaps there are more variables at play in these videos than just the sex of the walker.
The humor of this strip is based on the premise that women like street harassment.
Do we need to repeat the experiments of the past and have women actually stake out street corners where they subject men to the same type of treatment?
Want to know what happened in those experiments? Men started avoiding the corners where the women were gathered just as women avoid street corners where jeering groups of men are gathered.
This cartoonist has a lot of good stuff but when it comes to women’s issues, he is a total wash.
