    They’d have to specify how many decimal places to start from. I’d say 5,000 would be a good place.

    π being irrational, its decimal representation never ends, so you can’t actually recite it “backwards”.

    pi backwards:(1 + i * 2) / i ^( -1) of infinity to 0 = i from summation the * 4

    As far as we’ve been able to calculate so far …

    I’m not 100% sure you are joking, so just in case:You can actually prove mathematically that π is irrational. (Furthermore, it is transcendental.) Irrational numbers cannot be represented by a finite number of decimal digits unless you are rounding.

    To even speak of the “last digit” of Pi is nonsensical, so the contest makes no sense.

    I still have one that I bought with paper route profits in 1970, and can still use it (well, most of the scales, anyway). Also have an old HP-65 that unfortunately has a few LED segments out.
