Dear Santa, I have been exceptionally good this year. If Santa knows if you've been bad or good, wouldn't he be keenly aware of that already? Dear Santa, I have been good this year. Scratch Scratch
ArthurAllen: Total omniscience has its own problems. If God knows every detail of the future, there can be no free will because we have no effect on the future. If we are mere automatons acting out a program, there can be no sin because we had no more choice than a rock would. The ultimate will cannot be frustrated because people of faith can change the future, but to blame God for a situation (without doing anything to prevent it) is a copout and itself a sin.
dzw3030: No, theology – and the way people accept concepts without thinking. This does apply to any article of faith, be it religious, governmental, sports, or any other idol that keeps us from doing as we should – doctrine, laws, rules, etc.
