    I remember that bike. Silver with flames. Wrecked it Christmas day jumping garbage cans in the alley. Just a minor scratch. (or two) lol

    I used to have a golden yellow one with slicks for the rear tire…so cool. Sissy bar came later and worked well.

    Yup. I had this bike (gold with red flames). Evel Knievel was big at the time, and I mean BIG. More than a few of us kids managed to scare the hell out of our parents in those days.

    Aww how sweet! Rover is Red’s conscience it seems. I had a Shwin bike (pardon the possible misspelling). But I am a lot older than Red. Grew up in the 50s.
