    Jay’s got it exactly right. And Agent54 is correct… Sometimes it’s better to not say anything than to spew vitriol all over everyone else’s day. _____

    What’s the expression? “If you can’t say anything nice, then say nothing.” And, yes, that can be hard to do when the keyboard is in front of you.

    When one of the places I’ve worked in the last 20 years finally got an updated, integrated version of MS Office, the trainers told us, “And it’s all HTML!” At that point, before either I or the other web coders in the session could even raise a hand, the government rep threw a flag and said, “Don’t tell them that! We have enough problems cleaning up their current Word documents before putting them on the web site!”
