Should have invited Snoopy, the World Famous Hockey Player.

Chuck must be desperate if he’d invite her. Amazing she’d accept.

Sixties meme—girls are too dumb to play sports.

If Lucy is as good with hockey pucks as she is with baseballs, hopefully the puck will hit her in the head.

To quote the immortal Don Rickles; “You hockey puck!”

CB invited her because he hates himself. I don’t mean this jokingly either. Everything bad that happens to Charles is his fault.

I have a theory about balls, particularly big balls. The bigger the ball and the higher the score, the more popular the sport (at least in the US).

Basketball is very popular and uses one of the biggest balls in the sports world. Scores are typically in the scores if not hundreds.

Next comes football. Again a big ball with a lot of points being scored.

It’s difficult to compare baseball and soccer. Soccer has the bigger ball, but the scores are lower.

Then there’s hockey which technically speaking doesn’t use a ball at all. It’s got the small size of a baseball (and more like a slice taken out of the middle of a baseball) and the low scoring associated with soccer.

I’m not saying there is anything wrong with any of these sports, I’m just ranking them by popularity. And soccer is definitely a big draw outside the U.S.

Unlike with football, with hockey there is little chance of under inflation…

Would have been funnier if she had been holding the stick by the wrong end.
