I kind of saw this Christmas day delivery coming from quite a while back. I don’t have any objections to it. Still, I can hardly wait to find out what they’ll name the baby.
My two youngest sisters with both scheduled to be born on Christmas, but one was a little early and the other a little late. But they still ended up as “Merry Christmas” and “Christmas Carol”. The joys of being born in December….
To Team Tracy and all who visit these boards (and of course to our patriarch, Vista Bill) a very Merry Christmas and may your day be filled with joy, love and family.
my daughter was born just days after xmas. we decided to have small family celebrations on her actual birthday and hold her big party on her half-birthday in June. it’s been working out fine.
Poor ole Sparkle, I can remember more than thirty years ago my bride having that same expression on her pretty little face. Merry Christmas DT fans & God bless you all in the name of Jesus Christ the King of Kings!
A few things to note:St. Hilarie’s hospital is apparently named after Mrs. Joe Staton.Junior was also present at the birth of his baby sister Bonnie (though he was driving the car rather than assisting with the delivery).Today is Dick and Tess’ wedding anniversary. They tied the knot in a surprise ceremony on Christmas Eve of 1949. That’s 65 years!
I dodged a bullet on being “shorted on birthday presents.” I was scheduled to be born in December 1961, but decided to make my world debut a month early.
A lot of December B-days here:Sis Dec-4Wife Dec-5 (Also Walt Disney’s B-Day)Daughter Dec-16Cousin Dec-25For some reason my wallet is a lot thinner than usual this time of year. Must be the November property tax payment.Hmm… Wonder what I should get Mom for her B-day next month.Oh! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

My BD is December 26 and my son’s is December 30. Junior is correct. You always feel shorted on BD presents.

Having a character born on Christmas seems to me the kind of unusual coincidence that Gould would have loved.

Notice what Jr. is saying in panel three: “they’ll always feel shorted on birthday presents.” Is it twins, maybe?Blessed Christmas to All!
