Mom: Let's help Daddy dig out his car. Dad: First we'll have to find it. Alice: Here it is! Alice: Oops. I'm wrong. It's Dill's kiddie car. Mom: You many have to wait for the Spring thaw. Dad: Can I take the van to work?
Peter ought to have parked his Honka-Tonka Cuisinart ultra-mini car in the garage if there had been any prediction of snow! The van could have been left in the drive and would be easily found!
Peter really needs to drive his car and not the van. And, he should borrow son Petey’s back pack. That way, if the car gets stuck, Peter can just tuck it into the back pack and walk to finish his commute.

How hard could it be to find his car? Gee if it’s not in the driveway maybe it got caught up in the snowplow and whisked away.

If they don’t find it in the driveway, maybe they should check to see if Alice was playing with it in the sandbox again.
