I used to think that too. But not any more. Not after the last 3 weeks. The roofers finally got here to clear the snow and ice dams from our roof so the leaks have stopped for now. Looks like we’re going to get our second blizzard this weekend.
@BaslimI think it’s a French Canadian tradition. At least, we learned it from my French Canadian grandparents. When you put maple syrup on snow, it freezes into a hard candy type thing. You’re peeling the hard candy off the snow to eat it, and not actually eating the snow. So it’s not quite like a sno-cone, Nightshade!
Who wants to bet this was originally written with Jon in mind, but at the last minute someone felt it was necessary to remind us that he and Liz are a couple now?

We ALL don’t wanna know where Garfield got a big fork. The big bottle of maple syrup must’ve came from Costco.

Sounds good. Like a snowcone without the cone.

If garfield shops at CostCo then he must be there favorite customer because of the way he eats.

I can practically hear Garfield’s stomach grumbling.

You think that Liz is starting to get an idea of what Jon has to deal with everyday?
aspentree56 almost 10 years ago
No, the Costco maple syrup only comes in a one gallon size…
