A failure to communicate? Or a failure to listen to communication?

grins It’s called “selective hearing” Argy. It comes standard with us male models, you know.

Come to think about it, my husband hangs his pants on the cornor of the open folding door of the closet. The mirror on my dresser is 5" from the ceiling, making it a little difficult to reach.

If that’s his dresser and his shirt, he should be able to hang it there if he wants to. He should be telling her “can you get your perfume bottle of the dresser? It drives me crazy”

I have given up on mentioning the shirt on the mirror type of things. I just pull them down…pick them up…etc. Saves breath and sanity.

That is a two way street. Exactly what is more important to Elly, a dresser or the fact that John worked very hard to get Michael up to speed? If the importance of what John was doing for the kids was sinking in for Elly, then she would have said “thank you”.

An expert is one who knows more and more about less and less until he knows everything about nothing!

Dad was very hard of hearing, had to shout several times to get through, but let something slip that you didn’t want him to hear -———————————-

exturk: That is a specialist. The other kind of expert, the nearly extinct generalist, knows less and less about more and more until he knows negligible about everything. We need a generalist who can see the big picture regarding how things can work together and then let the specialist work out the details within their department. Unfortunately, current practice is to ignore the generalist and let the specialist spend their time in turf battles.

Please put your shirt back on. You have no muscles and you need to get o a gym.

westny77: I can think of a lot of reasons not to be wearing a shirt at any given times, but showing off muscles is rather far down the list. Curious how your mind works.

Too bad the male human has been too dumb to realize the impact that their selective hearing has on the female libido…
