Browsers have “boss mode” switches. Is there something like that for “spouse mode”?

That doesn’t mean that nobody is watching and that they won’t use your choice of news sources to harm or persecute you at some time in the future, though. If your herd slants left and you read news that slants right, you could be shunned, unless mining for rocks to throw.

“…Thus Conscience does make Cowards of us all, And thus the Native hue of Resolution Is sicklied o’er, with the pale cast of Thought, And enterprises of great pitch and moment, With this regard their Currents turn awry, And lose the name of Action. Soft you now, The fair Ophelia. Nymph, in all thy Orisons Be thou all my sins remembered.”

I read the New York Times in incognito mode to get around their paywall. I hate that little window that pops up and says “You have read 6 of your free 10 articles. Subscribe to the New York Times now” [or we’ll block your @$$].

I have to use ABP and incognito because the focused interest cookie reader was taking too long to find the ads before it would open the window.
