The police will find some sort of contraband while Slim and Clovia are gone, and they will confiscate the house under “Civil Forfeiture” (doesn’t matter if the owner is innocent – google if you don’t know about civil forfeiture). Slim and Clovia will come back to find themselves homeless and hundreds of thousands poorer. Chubby and Mom will be released after a few weeks in jail, where they are warm and comfortable, while Slim and Clovia are freezing in a box. Until they get arrested for loitering.
