I think we’ve all agreed that we can cut some cake from the back, if the birthday person isn’t here yet..And Red’s been working different hours, so we don’t know when he’ll arrive….

I’m sure it’s OK with him if we try it….(Especially as I just gave him a very expensive bottle of Scotch to soothe the pain…. LOL)

I’ve gotta go back to the salon and turn in…but remember, the party goes on all day today and into the evening… you haven’t missed it…Redkaycei’s not even here yet himself!

In the last few days many of the comics on the site have been very slow to load. Sometimes it’s faster if I use the enlarge button. The top half starts, then the rest fills in. Not having any computer problems that I know of. Anyone else getting this? Thanks.

Hey everybody…

You’re not late just because you didn’t arrive the minute the new strip was posted… after all, that’s the night before the actual birthday..

We post the invitation and cake and food at that time so the birthday person will be surprised by a party, at whatever time he or she reads the comic for that day.

It’s just fine to stop in and say “Happy Birthday” all through the next day and evening,,, that’s the real birthday anyway…..

And a Saturday Ballard Street runs for two days…so party on!
