When we came back from a trip, The Late Great Toshie would get on the bed, get under my chin and purr so loud I couldn’t sleep. She’d do this for 2 nights, and then when she guessed I wasn’t going away again, she would sleep at the foot as usual.

But you said these were for Santa…aren’t you gonna yell at the cat?

Ya know, they learn tat seek attack thing at an early age.

So, made about 15 dozen cookies yesterday. Paul, of course, is scarfing them down. Our wake-up call this morning was Yum Yum knocking over the Christmas tree, which knocked Rudolph, Santa and the sleigh off the table, resulting in a broken antler on Rudolph and a broken runner on the sleigh. Now need to get some wood glue. The tree suffered no damage, neither did Yum Yum. The cookies are a different story, I have had to stash the ones I want to take to the Secret Santa party at in-laws on Sunday.

That video is so cute! 2old – great pictures as usual. The soaking wet dog is just how the Ten Cats like their dogs. LadyKat – I hope you have a really good hiding place. It sounds like Paul really likes your cookies.

When I had a houseful of cats, there would always be at least one waiting in a strategic position waiting for me to drive down the road. There was a least five places they would wait in, and there was normally at least two cats on watch :-)

I agree with what you are saying. My 3 ex-strays will hear the key in the lock on the door and come running like dogs. I then have to sit on the floor with them for about 10 minutes.

Not sure I needed to see this. I am going to be gone all next week. Have someone coming to check on my two every other day, but have not been gone even overnight since I got them. I am going to miss them so much. I just hope they will be okay.
