    Somehow Schroeder, like Linus, managed to speed up his aging and become the same age as Charlie Brown, a few years later.

    But, as yesterday, he assumes the hands-on-piano-keys posture, here in panel three. Two appearances, same fingers/toes image in both. Makes me wonder how far ahead Schulz envisioned Schroeder’s trademark passion.

    Schroeder is one of my favourite characters, so seeing these origin strips is neat. I’m glad he grew up fast.
