I really like the way Charlie Brown was treated in these early strips. So different from the way Violet, Patty, Shermy & the rest treated him in later comics. They were actually friends with him (& Patty & Violet seem to look at him as a possible suitor).

Let’s face it – Snoopy is cuter.
