Three cheers for Number Three!!

“Fayre”? Never saw that one before. Google tells me it’s a pseudo-archaic Brit spelling of “fair”. I’da thunk “faire” was archaic enough.

What is a “Church fayre”?

My favorite episode of the great Britcom “Bless Me, Father” was the one with the church festival. Hilarity ensues! (Now if only chuckles would ensue in the current “Andy Capp”….I might just have flu left-overs, but was today’s even trying?)

I think the vicar is getting a bit senile in his old age.

But at least he suddenly remembered before it was too late!

Well, Cappers…. I DID IT!

I successfully donated my 10th pint of blood today which was dedicated to our own Eldo.

I took 4 minutes, 57 seconds this time. I will receive my badge and certificate in the post.

As usual, I felt well after the donation but still going to take things easy.
