Read their voting records. If that doesn’t tell you whether you are a Democrat or a Republican within half an hour, you really are too far out of it to be doing anything. The parties have never been so far apart. Democrats vote for the middle class, Republicans vote for the “job creators” on the theory that they will create more jobs and improve the whole economy if they have more money. That idea has been floating around for about 50 years, and there is no record of it ever having worked. On the contrary, when the middle class gets the goodies, they go spend the money, creating demand and creating jobs, but Republicans have never let reality interfere with their agenda.
