Love the resolution list. New avatar is 4 generations: me, daughter, grandson, and great-granddaughter.By the way, has anyone heard from Ruth, Dry, or Queen lately?
Still here and kicking. We currently have 2 kittens and 2 adult fosters in the house, plus our 3. I have been doing a lot of reading lately in order to make the adults feel calm and loved by sitting in my lap. Amazon Kindle loves me – I’m going thru at least 2 books a day.
Our 4 Kitties had a wonderful Christmas morning, I cashed in some loose change to buy them presents, and a bouquet of yellow Roses for Barbara to brighten up her room (it works) In early Nov I “decorated” a tree in our backyard to make keep her happy after the operation. ( I am taking down the front lights after New years but not the back yard) A new scratcher, a 3 story cat condo, and a pack of bizzy balls for Chester and Mama to play with. The condo is one of those that can be put together with plastic rods and connectors placed through nylon sleeves. I was about halfway through assembly when Poodle decided to explore one of the assembled chambers. The sides are covered in a nylon mesh for view and ventilation. Poodle looked like she wanted a cheek rub so I placed my forefinger against the mesh and went to rub the offered cheek. Poodle opened her mouth and gently “bit” my finger. She is a predictable and trustworthy Cattie, Poodle is the only cat we allow to sleep with us at night, as she will do just that, sleep.Suddenly, she bit down, HARD!I bled, a lot.. If it was not for my fingernail she would have gone through both sides. No infection so far, but she surprised me totally, she has always been like a big gentle baby these four years. I forgave her of course because who can stay mad at this face?As you can see there are four of the new strays sans mama, who decided our place was a good place to hang out at.And here is Chester, all settled into his Condo and ready to harass the owners association over their stupid rules.
I left the tp on the holder last spring when I had one of the batches of kittens. Oops! It was like a winter wonderland in there. They didn’t just unroll it, they shredded it into a bazillion pieces!
On the 19th Ruth may have had the flu. She had the chills. A few days before she didn’t know but what she might have to go to Mississippi to be with her sister. Yes, the last we heard was that her sister was doing good after they took her leg, but things may have changed. If they had to take her sister’s other leg, she may have gone to be with her. I think we need to pray for both of them.

I wish my cats would clean their own litter boxes. NOW THAT WOULD BE A GREAT NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION, if they would keep it. :-D
