What was pointless?

Ahhhh: back in the day when parents wouldn’t get arrested for letting their kids play outside alone. And communication was standing on the top porch step and screaming the children’s names that it was time for supper.

Actually, that looks like fun. Wish my old body could do that! No worries! An advantage of youth!!

That looks like a loot of work Calvin. I think I’ll just sit here and watch it snow.

I spend an awful lot of my time on pointless stuff and it doesn’t feel like weekend. On hold with vendors/providers, upgrading software that didn’t seem to be broken, cleaning a house that’s just going to be dirty again tomorrow…

We all do pointless stuff sometime in our lives.

Just ask me!

In these days when so many comic strip artists are just cut-and-pasting, you have to admire the effort put into this one. Probably as tiring as Calvin’s running around, too!

Calvin’s day just reminded me when I was six. And my neighbor (also aged six) and I tied his brother to a tree and then ran off to chase rabbits. It was a fun day. Even if we failed to catch any rabbits. I think I need another day or more like that or Calvin’s day.

That’s what Golf is for.
