I walked into the DMV last year. There was only one person waiting. I walked up to the desk and asked a question. the clerk told me I had to take a number. I got my number and went and sat down. No sooner did my butt hit the chair and the same clerk called my number. It was like something out of the Carol Burnett show.
We have gone backwards in our DL photos. We are now required to NOT Smile. (same as for passports). But the photo is now in B&W and so closely cropped – My photo now looks like its from the 50’s or 40’s. sigh. guess we no longer need to even try to look nice for the photo.

Our DOT is open 1/2 day once a month. I’m not kidding. And I think you don’t have to be obnoxious to get a hideous photo!

I keep having problems with some fat old bald guy who jumps in front of me just as the camera goes off. And they won’t retake the picture.
