You don’t know frozen lips until you’ve gone on a -20 degree bike ride.

I used to ride in winter until I hit a patch of black ice and completely fudged up my leg. Now I cringe when I see someone on a bike or moped in winter. They are a hazard to themselves and everyone else on the road.

Speech balloons behind the window frame: nice touch.

The first panel is a Mallet classic…Notice how the word balloons ate behind the window trim? A few years ago Frazz squeegeed (is that a word?), the inside of the panel as if it was a window…Mallet knows how to think out of the xob…

I think I read it here first, “There is no bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.” But when it’s below freezing, these days I opt for the elliptical.

Frazz is a moron. i love seeing runners thinking how their ankles, knees and hips will thank them when they are in their 40’s for all the pounding they have been given. especially nice to see them run in bad weather when they slip and fall.

In this weather, treadmills mean a lot to me.

I agree with Paul. Frazz is either an idiot or a moron. And, since he knows a lot of facts and can spar with Caulfield – the Calvin wanna-be – he is just totally missing common sense.

I don’t think “Duh” comes into it, ED, just an appreciation of the artwork (cite another example if you believe it’s a common drawing technique) and a disinclination to criticize others needlessly.

Don’t get caught up in a False Dilemma. One can be against violence and that bigoted, so-called journalist rag, too.

Love the way the voice bubble is behind the window. It’s the little things. Brilliant.

thebird55: That is why I say je suis Ahmed, a Muslim who died defending those who insulted him. Seems to be a lot of others like that – giving a play-by-play for the police, hiding potential hostages while exposing himself as a diversion. All the while, the Republican’s Australian hate factory lies about the lack of Muslim condemnation.
