Don.t all laptops have just one battery?

Time to get a packet of a batteries and a step-ladder.

The Mormon church stole my good functioning smoke detector. They are evil.

I just thought a cricket was in the house.

I bought a new smoke and CO2 detector combo and lo and behold you DO NO CHANGE THE BATTERIES EVER. I thought it was a misprint. Supposedly, the new units last 10 years and you change the whole unit not the batteries. It’s the darnedest thing. I have about 9 1/2 years left so I don’t know if they last that long yet but you better believe I will be checking them regularly.

I once spent twenty minutes creeping around the house in the middle of the night trying to find the strange creaking noise I kept hearing..Turned out to be my stomach.

Why is she on the computer in the middle of the night?

I must be the middle of the night, because that is the only time detectors beep. They never start that in the day when you are up and around, they always wait until you are in bed and just about asleep.

It can’t be the Smoke Alarm Batteries! They only Beep at 3 AM in the Morning!

All laptops have two batteries. The main one, and the one used to keep the clock current. It’s a bitch to change.
