A memory of very long ago — my older brother on his stomach on the living room floor, funnies spread out around him, shooing off a Dalmatian that used to wander down the block to visit us and who liked to enjoy the funnies with my brother. Oh, the memories…!
Yes, the comics used to be bigger and longer. But have you ever seen a collection of very old comics? With few exceptions, their humor has not aged well at all; I’d rather read the mediocrities of today.
