very good! It’s a keeper! Wish it looked that good on newsprint. this strip reminds me of my childhood, I had a great dog, she didn’t live as long as she should Have.Love the art work on the shadows like Grass said, “Magical”
I am in awe! The art work is so beautiful and magical! It takes me back to a time when everything was pure and innocent and life was so simple. I love the mobile, too.
Today’s strip is truly inspiring and brought a tear to my eyes..@nosirrom, I certainly hope this young talent is allowed to grow up and spend as much time being a kid as she truly deserves. I feel in all to many cases, when talent such as this is discovered, parents are way to anxious to see their child make a “professional success” of themselves rather than allow them to grow up naturally..I always told our daughters not to be in such a hurry to grow up, because you will only have one chance to be a child. It worked, because both daughters are now very successful and were given full opportunity to be kids…
Brian, if the stupid leg lamp can sell, have you thought about a Red and Rover mobile and/or space ship? Or maybe these are better left in our imagination…..
Feb. 8th, 1974 : Three US astronauts Dr Edward Gibson, Lieutenant Colonel Gerald Carr and Lieutenant Colonel William Pogue have returned safely to Earth after breaking the previous record for staying in space. They spent a total of 85 days in the American space station, Skylab.
.Perhaps this inspired Red and Rover to have a look at the Moon as one might see it from Skylab.
If we’re looking directly at the moon through the bedroom window, what’s throwing the light on the head of the bed and the wall behind it? Can’t be the moon: The angle’s wrong.
This drawing should be distributed to every parent and every teacher … in fact, every adult … in the world, just to remind us to encourage IMAGINATION. “To know is nothing at all; to imagine in everything.” – Anatole France

That lamp is what a spaceship is supposed to look like! I’ve never forgiven NASA for making the lunar lander so ugly.

That one picture speaker to us in so many ways. A boy, his best friend and a dream.

Love your dog with all the time you have. And at least once a week, take time to sit in a box and imagine.

The only thing missing for it to be my room is the book Starship on Saddle Mountain.

In another of today’s comics it’s asked if comics are art. This answers the question.
