Thank you all for the kind words, I raised Chester up from a “Kitten Nugget” He was so tiny and orange.I buried him this afternoon in a heavy snowstorm. the frozen ground making a hard job even harder. I put him close to the house between our bedroom and our shower his two favorite places.I was looking forward to taking a shower with him today, and nearly everything I did today served to remind me he was no longer here.I know it will get easier, but he was a constant presence wherever I went. I really miss him.Roy, Poodle and his Mama are getting extra love and Poodle has not left my side for a minute today. Roy has come up for long cuddles in my arms 5 times today.I know they miss Chester too. I’ve been home everyday since the 23rd and spent tons of quality time with my Kitties, and Chester especially. He had a nice Christmas with lots of toys, treats and love, I can only hope he enjoyed his last days as much as I did.Love your family and your friends both two and four footed as if it was their last day on Earth.I was looking forward to watching Chester grow up and spend his life with us. Barbara almost had me go out to the shelter to get another, but it’s best we don’t right now.
RUTH!!! Yay you are all right! I was so worried about you.I’m so jealous, I hope your trip is wonderful and we look forward to “kittie posts” when you get back!
Dream, my thoughts are with you and your dear little family at this sad time. What a beautiful boy your Chester was! He will always glow bright in your heart.
@A_Dream4U, I am so, so, sorry to hear about Chester. He was a beautiful little guy, and I know he is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.@WetandSoggy, Ruth, I am so glad to hear you are OK, I was worried sick about you. Enjoy your trip to Hobbit country! I’ve never been to New Zealand, but everything I have seen shows it to be a beautiful country. To everyone else, have a good Sunday.
I must relate something that happened yesterday. Paul’s parents gave us a new flatscreen TV for Christmas, and we have no room to keep the old TV as it’s one of the older high-definition ones that was about a foot deep. My grandson asked if he could have it and came over yesterday to pick it up with a friend who has a station wagon. When the friend came in to help carry it out (and, by the way, I know this person and he is OK), Yum Yum literally puffed up to twice her size, sat on my feet and growled at him. She would not stop growling until he left, nor would she get off my feet or let me go anywhere near him. I thought it was very odd, but he has a Himalayan and says his lad sometimes acts the same way. After everyone left, she would not get off my lap for the rest of the day.
Poor Annie. She always gets the ’fall’out from the cats. Especially Chesney. Ruth – so glad all is well. We were worried and here you were just having a great time. Enjoy. 2old – love your cats in the snow pictures. I more relate to the one on the radiator. A_Dream4u – that brought tears to my eyes too. What a great little cat. It sounds like your others ones are pretty great too. Lots of love there. LadyKat – sounds like Yum Yum is very protective of you. Cats see threats that we don’t.

Reminds me of an early Garfield where he said something like “And if I’m lying may lightning strike — the dog next door!”
“Yip!”

Chesney says, “It is 2015 and I have yet to do anything to annoy, irritate or upset you”. What time is it? 12:01 AM New Year’s Day? LOL!
