    This would’ve worked better if it was clear that the guy either left voluntarily or got yanked aside, possibly with a vaudeville hook. But the spiraling motion line suggests that he did the most random multi-backflip.

    IF the joke WAS that he doesn’t need to give him an introduction, it would have been clearer TO ME if he then just walked away after saying that. That being said, Rubes is about the funniest single panel out there. I feel like I must be punished for trying to correct a genius.
