No Turnip Surprise for Lil’ Attitude. He must be so disappointed. NOT! Pizza sounds good for tonight.
I wonder who Daddy Rags is and where he is now. I wonder why Aggie even went to visit her sister if she knew they would fight. Maybe she just like to rub it in that she took Gertie’s man.
Happy birthday to @Ashmael. Age is just a number. You’ve got me beat. I’ll be turning 55 this year and they’re already rarely to give me a senior’s discount.
Happy birthday, Ashmael!Like Neil before me, I wonder just who Daddy Rags is (or, more likely, was). Nose-to-nose, the sisters (their birth-surname has never been established, it seems) do look very much alike. Could “Daddy Rags” have been Gertie’s mysterious first husband? Perhaps we shall find out, while the men-folk prudently munch pizza….
@Ashmael: Happy Birthday. May it be the best one yet. And don’t worry about turning 60. It’s not really much difference than turning 59. Just remember to always have fun and laugh. It will keep you young.
To Bob: Thanks for noticing. The role played by Donald Sutherland is the role that put him in the record books. He said himself he could never beat it! It also gave the needed boost to Eastwood, making the movie on of his top efforts. I, personally, think it is his best. The pair working together made the movie what it is.
To Ash: Happy B-Day! I’ve got you beat by a bunch, but the best part of growing old is you can harrass the chickies now and you won’t get sued, fired, or slapped! Woo-hoo! Old people aren’t responsible anymore, and that can work to your advantage!
It’s not how many years have gone by, but how many you have left that counts….in that respect, you’re “younger” than lots of people physically younger than you!

Morning, Tracyville!
In panel 3, shouldn’t B.O. be mispronouncing the word “get” as “git?” Not being picky, just a feeble attempt at levity.
