Why should he have to buy all of them? Maybe just the ones right under his nose…but even then. They’re oranges so they can be washed and peeled.

Isla Guapa, Pharmakeus Ubik: Thank you for your comments. I expected question marks, or total ignoration. I admit to several factors in my post: it is a great piece and consistently in the top ten of WRR (Dallas) annual Classical Top Forty Poll; I play in a couple of local community bands; and two days ago, I listened to the “audition scene” from the movie Brassed Off, in which the solo was on a fluglehorn rather than the original guitar – and the script used the “orange juice” parody title. The movie is a powerful comment on Thatcherism as well.
