I’m going to guess it was Rip’s nasty neighbor. Agreed?

If it’s not an annoying neighbor it’s an annoying mayor! Remember, Spur is still one of Breezy’s relatives.

“Civilian.” I’m not sure, but that sounds like an insult to me.

Frank maybe? ……….. It’s funny to think that Frank & uncle Spur are not cut from the same mold.

On a good note, Rip can get on with the business of being an expecting dad and Breezy’s other half. It’ll be interesting to see where Dan is taking us.

I am going to guess that Mrs. Haywire had put her foot down and refused to allow Rip to become a sheriff. That or Rip’s dad had a reserve clause to his employment contract.

On the bright side, she can be someone else’s dipstick deputy.

In what state is the sheriff hired by the mayor? A sheriff is usually an elected official, by the voters of the county, not responsible to city government.
