My money’s on Bung. He’s spent a lot of time in a lot of low places including bars and pool halls.
When I was taught billiard, there was a larger table with no pockets. There was your cue, the opponents cut differentiated by a dot, and a colored ball. The easiest game was hitting your cue into the other cue and the colored ball. More advanced games consisted of any number of rails between these contacts. “Gentlemen play billiards, bums play pool.” Watch Robert Preston in the Music Man.

He shouldn’t need a cue that large, after all, he is playing a drunk Jester …. on the other hand, maybe he does.

He won’t rip the felt, ‘cause he doesn’t have the curly cue…

It seems the table only has white balls. What gives with that?

I need a pool cue like that for breaking!

If you look closely, there are three white balls and no pockets on the table. They’re not playing pool; they’re playing billiards.

I thought the number of balls on the table depended on how many guys were playin’.

Does anybody really think they’d let Rodney play anything with a sharp-pointed lance?
Rakkav about 14 years ago
Sure, why not? This is the only kind of jousting that he has a snowball’s chance in Tibetian Hell of winning.

Is it me or are there a bunch of cue balls instead of numbered balls?
