Miss Bliss: Class! I have some very exciting news! One of Blisshaven's many succesful and generous alumni is going to donate a piano! Dill: Yahoo! Wait - did she say " A MOON BOUNCE"? Beni: A MOON BOUNCE? Well! That's more like it!
Just like the old game of ‘telephone’, things change in the telling.
Not even close…lol
Moon bounce?
Alumni? Blisshaven has Alumni old enough to afford a Piano to donate? How long has Miss Bliss been in business?
A Moon Bounce is one of those inflatable carny rides for little kids.
As for the donation, all you need is an 18 year old donate his old piano before he goes on tour with his band…
Now that was one crazy interpretation Dill.
Dill had been thinking “moon bounce” so hard, his ears heard it.
I didn’t know that Alice is a ‘lefty?’
Alice is unfazed by either the the piano or the moon bounce.
Another child with selective hearing
They only hear what they want to hear
Yea for lefties
You rule Alice
@peteysgrrl: Yeah, I don’t think pianos are Alice’s forte…
I would’ve had a much happier childhood if my mom had insisted I practice moon bounce for 30 minutes every day, instead of piano…
Maybe the successful and generous alumnus is Schroeder.
Or maybe this is Miss Bliss’s cunning plan to tie Timmy Fretwork down as Blisshaven’s Music Teacher. IT WON’T WORK!
(Only 19 more shopping days before National Cartoonist Day!)
With ears that size, you’d have thought the hearing would be better.
@BrianCook I’ve done that too, and not just as a kid…
what happened to Alices’ nose in the first panel??
I like Dill’s drawing.
