Possibly his script is still trying to find a buyer, like most writers who’ve written a film treatment. I can well imagine some Hollywood exec asking, “but where’s the Anglo main character?”
OMG, that is the most easily disproved statement i have ever seen. First, Hollywood is owned by big corporations and supports Republicans in virtually every race. Second, it was Democrats who got the Civil Rights act passed and Reps who are scuttling it bit by bit thru their operatives on the Supreme Court. All you have to do it watch the real news to see how the Reps are handling the immigration issue. Minorities are not stupid, as you portray them, they know who the enemy is and who has their best interests at heart. Women are also wise to the ways of the GOP and are leaving them in droves. Watch the voting records, pal, no the Fox spin.
Or as someone said, “It drives republicans nuts when Obama reminds them that only 1/3 of the eligible voters actually voted.”Can’t count on that forever (or even in 2016).
2014 saw four movies with Hispanics in lead roles – Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, The Book of Life, Guardians of the Galaxy, and No Good Deed. []Two of those were focused on Hispanic culture to some extent. Another two are up for Oscars.[]What more does he want?

Lalo, you are a writer; write your movie. Take creative control, make it everything that you want.

It doesn’t matter what Lalo wants; Hollywood is still in control. Lest you still think they’re “liberals”.

Hollywood is solid liberal Democratic.
Wake up to the false liberalism of the Democratic party. It is the party of Jim Crow and making minorities wards of the state to control their vote.

Tallguy98366’s comments are totally inconsistent with the elections results.
