Good morning, Vagabonds. Another Sunday going through the Sunday Miami Herald wondering when I would go to the pool when a neighbor, a year younger than me but who I regard as really elderly, called me and told me his doctor told him not to swim alone. Off to the pool I went for an hour plus swim although my neighbor only swam in shallow water for 20 minutes.
Good morning Vagabonds.Well we finally broke the old record for snow fall. We picked up about 2 to 3 inches in my area. Now I have to go out in the morning and clean off the cars and the driveway. I can push it as it will probably be easier than getting out the blower. I hope this is the last, but, but It probably wont be.
Arthur, I don’t know whether to congratulate you on breaking that record or not!
The deer are coming out. We had four in our back yard yesterday morning. Then, while driving to church, we came upon a group of seven, then a block later, a group of four.
Good morning Vagabonds..The sun is rising, I can see a pink glow on the clouds over in the west.We have our sunrise service over on the ridge across the valley from where I live, we have had some beautiful sunrises.7 degrees and quiet, no snow, good..Well, I’ll be headed out on my toon tour now..ttfn
Congratulations, Arthur! What a record! I think the part about only one car driving your road at a time is awesome! People will be talking about that for YEARS!
We were supposed to get rain/snow during the night……….all we got was wind. :(( Sure could use some moisture!
Enjoyed the oldie: “Angels in the Outfield” last night. What fun movies were back then.
Wow, Arthur. That’s a lot of snow! Reminds me of what Michael told me about the winter of 1969 in Washington State. They had so much snow piled up on either side of the roads from the plows that people tied helium balloons to their radio antennae so they could be seen approaching the intersections. Gas stations provided the balloons for everyone on a daily basis.
It got up over 80 again yesterday. I already have the windows and doors open this morning to catch the fresh air.
Mike joined me at church yesterday morning. It is nice having him around.
