I love the expressions in panel 4, like Marigold is teasing Phoebe but in an nice way.

Actually a “sap” is someone who cares about the feelings of others and is willing to put others needs ahead of their own. I have been guilty of this at times.

As much as I dislike the name change, I love the fact that since then the comic has been here first thing in the morning rather than having to wait for it.

Judging from the name, Phoebe has owned Sheepie for years. How cute.

It looks to me like Marigold is just fine with Phoebe being a sap. Me too, Phoebe. I always made sure my stuffies were warm in their chair before I went to bed at night.

@ NightGaunt-49 & Darwinskeeper: Actually, the classic definition of a “sap” was someone who could be easily manipulated using sentimentality or sadness. (i.e. A woman who would feed tramps and hobos because she felt sorry for them when she listened to their tales of woe.)
