Note to self: before starting washing machine, make sure cat is in sight. Yum Yum was sitting in the washing machine, camouflaged by laundry. I tossed in the detergent pod, turned on the machine, and she yelled bloody murder. I opened the door. Exit one mildly soggy, extremely aggravated, Siamese kitty (all six pounds of her). She has been giving me random swats and scoldings ever since.
When I unload the new cans of Catfood from the grocery bag, Poodle gets excited and insists on marking each new can by rubbing her cheek on them as they are put on her shelf.
I was reading the posts from yesterday. To those who don’t think I should send Rory to be a barn cat: She is way too unpredictable with her biting to be around children. And most adults wouldn’t tolerate it. She hates other cats so would have to be in a one-cat home. The barn is a nice barn. Gall takes excellent care of her kitties. Her place is in the middle of town, not out in the middle of nowhere with hawks, and other predators. We live in a small town outside of St George UT (Hurricane). It’s a ranching and farming community which is why there are ranches and barns in the middle of town. If you drive from my house to the end of town, which takes about 5 minutes, you will pass a bunch of pastures with horses and ranches.
Rory will be safe. And, a lot happier because she won’t be cooped up in the den with me. I cannot let run around the house because she hates my 3 cats.

Your posts remind me of my youth – oh what a wonderful time! – Lola, Mr. Pleasant, The Death of a Clown, Apeman, Sunny Afternoon… I had to put on my old records – Kinks, Beatles, Donovan Uriah Heep, Hollies, Union Gap… the crackle and scraping of the old vinyl records is gorgeous!
Oh yeah, I remember well this time and the “Beatclub” – that was our TV show… at that time I was 16 years old… sweet 16! The TV presenter was Uschi Nerke, she did a very good job. And again a song dedicated to our little Annie! That is so great! zwinkerzwinker (translation: twinkletwinkle)
Love all the Beatle hair in the clip-and the girl’s hair. I wanted hair like that but mine is curly and would not stay straight for long-now I like my curly hair.
@ Rikki TaviThat cat with the big teddy is gorgeous. And licking a stuffed animal is quite affectionate.—@ Marge: My Johnny Räuberle also loved his teddies:He was a handsome cat.

What do you expect Chesney can’t feed the cats. He would only feed himself. Annie feeds all.
