I’ll be gone for the next four days, We are going to Vegas. Not to gamble unfortunately, but to do some work on one of our rentals, We have new tenants coming, so i’ll be at Lowes picking out carpet and fridges. See you Saturday!
Regarding the nine lives of cats and what they get up to when we’re not around or asleep, has anyone here not read Diane Duane’s fabulous book ‘The Book of Night with Moon’ and it’s sequel ‘On Her Majesty’s Wizardly Service’?
I agree that I don’t want to deal with cats getting hit by cars. There is nothing funny in it. There are all the other cats to explore and learn about if Graham is needing ideas for the strip.
Beviek – cute picture! 2old – love the pictures – especially Grumpy Cat. Have a safe trip and don’t work too hard. Will miss your pictures. Drive carefully, everyone – watch out for kitties.
Good grief people. This is a comic strip. It’s a funny play on cats having 9 lives and having “catitude” with St. Peter/God/Whoever at the Pearly Gates. Lighten up. Graham Harrop is not trivializing cats being hit by cars. Sheesh.
Paint I wasn’t so much upset as deeply saddened. It only served to remind me again of what I would give to have my beautiful sweetheart sitting beside me right now.
After years spent in an abusive home hubby and I adopted her. She finally had her happy ending and then it was cruelly and painfully taken from her.
I would love to know the back stories on the other kitties as well
Graham Harrop! You must be very busy. You used the same panel three times, just adding a hand gesture in the last one. I object! I look forward to four original panels honouring this wonderful strip!
To all, I, for one, know Graham wasn’t being cruel. Perhaps making us appreciate our extended “family”, cats, dogs, rabbits, whatever animal is in our lives. This was just rather “heart wrenching” and perhaps, that was GRAHAM’s intent. My cats are indoor cats, but things happen, God forbid, they could get loose somehow, and end up “out there”. The strip was sad, but it did drive home a good point for us.

Well done letting us know, 2old! As for you, Chesney, you’d better start being more careful. You’re very bad but very precious!

Yeah I wish they had nine lives. I wouldn’t be mourning the death of my baby girl from a blood clot this summer.JMHO but I despise today’s strip

Graham is just reminding us to keep our kitties indoors safe from harm! Though it did bring back some sad memories from my childhood an losing pets.

Please keep in mind… Graham mentioned last week Thursday that he was going away for a week…
