Oh God, where to start? Jerry, ever the realist, has figured out just exactly how much it costs to keep Verla a “sure thing.” Answer: not much, and less each year. Dale, too, has transitioned to “paying for performance” as has most likely Marlene. Then there’s Burl, our Warren Buffet wannabe. He would like us to think that his income is related to macro market conditions when in reality it is micro to the max. His income is directly related to his ongoing “less than satisfactory” and “needs improvement” performance appraisals from U-Stor-It.

If Burl isn’t careful his performance (both at work and at home) is going to result in no income and no…well, you know….I’m seeing the look Joy is giving him. He didn’t even give her a Valentine present, claiming being too busy at work and not remembering/ Even tho Joy has a big pink heart hanging over his head. Those people practice “economy of mind” to the nth degree. They have teeeeny tiny thoughts.

Or Burl left a candy kiss on the table along with 3 candy kiss foil wrappers.

I dunno…. coming from Jerry, maybe they are “Sweathearts.”

    Yuck!

At least (except for those classic Sweathearts, maybe) they’re mentioning name brands…. low-end ones, to be sure…but there’s far worse out there than Russell Stover.

The dollar stores that have always carried those waxy, powdered-milky-tasting (and to me, inedible) Palmer’s chocolate hearts, bunnies and Santas are starting to switch to their own store brands…all made in China.

Don’t know what those taste like and don’t intend to find out.

Verla will find out at Easter… unless Jerry skips that one.

That ’to do" list is likely an escapee from the fires of Hell, and is hiding from “Big L” by impersonating a……“to do” list.

There’s a second ‘find it’ today. A dollar sign. How appropriate!
