JDG - This is all happening in the Yucatan, Mexico - if there was a was a “political correctness” consideration then Mexican’s couldn’t ‘look’ like Mexicans either (unless, it was all happening in Arizona *;)*

Punjab’s ‘Turban’ signifies that he is a Sheik, a religious sect that don’t cut their hair, I believe. And Author Maeder is old school and PC would not likely inhibit him.
