At least Pig-Pen isn’t the team’s manager.
Lucy is a functional half-wit…
I cannot picture Lucy watching a ball game on TV!She doesn’t under stand it, why would she watch?
TV is so informative.
“Give us Dirty Laundry, kick ‘em when you’re up, kick ‘em when you’re down…” – Don Henley song, 1982-1983.
Loved Earl Weaver doing that to the umpire’s feet
That’s it, Charlie Brown! Throw her out of the game!
Kick dirt on her back, Charlie!
Billy Martin never kicked dirt on umpires when he was sober—luckily, he was rarely sober…….
Whoever said that TV can be a bad influence… They are absolutely right!xxx
CB does look a bit like Pigpen in the fourth frame, doesn’t he?
Kicking dirt on umpire’s shoes has been going on since Cap Anson was a private. Now if you really want to make an umpire mad call him a “piece of cheese”… or at least that’s what the newspapers of the 1900s said that players called umpires.
Is this how “Pig Pen” got started?
