Some subscriptions give you a sense of relief when they run out because you don’t need that daily/weekly/monthly reminder that you wasted your money. At least that’s how I felt a few years ago when I got my last issue of “Rolling Stone,” which has become a shadow of its former self.
I used to subscribe to quite a few magazines, and enjoyed reading them. The single unfortunate part of the experience is the continuous nagging to get you to renew your subscriptions!
At least Linus doesn’t make his teacher sigh and question her vocation (and the fairness of the universe!) the ay Peppermint Patty’s will be doing in a few short years…..
