And high time, too! You know how much clutter accumulates over the years.
Ten, to be precise. Therefor – and don’t get confused! – the ten year old comments will not only refer to the inhabitants of Ballard street, but also to Cleo and Company from yesteryear: http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy&uc_full_date=20100411 – the very first Cleo and Company on sherpa!
Well of course the hats come out on Sunday – and this is a Sunday strip. I love the originality they all show… except for that guy in the middle, with a basic fedora. He seems interested in that yeller gal. Her hat is much more creative than his, but, hats aren’t everything.

Good morning graphics and ejcapulet!

I think living in a neighborhood that has dogs with hats is much safer then my neighborhood where cows have guns.

Hi Marg!
Cleo, you never know; this is Ballard Street - the dogs might be packing heat.
kittenpah over 14 years ago
Looks like the meeting of the hat dogs is about to open.

kinda stupid maybe but funny nonetheless and tickled the bizarre bone, as usual.

Hey, it’s a dog party. And mine shall be the grandest of them all.
Coyoty Premium Member over 14 years ago
Or, the neighborhood boasts an unusually large number of dog owners who tie hats onto their dogs. But you can’t assume anything on Ballard Street.

Thank you for everything!

OK – 6 minutes.
Careful: One of the differences looks like two, but does count only as one.

Cleo has a tag – is she for sale?

Hello puzzle pals… and Cleo fans old and new…
It is, indeed, puzzle day, in the April 11th, 2020, “Cleo and Company”, on Sherpa.
I’m having trouble with my connection, therefore both GoComics and my image hosting site….
But I managed to upload my side by side version using my phone…
And I’m using it now to post this…
I need to straighten everything out, but first…. I’ll leave you the side by side, so you can all get busy solving.
Tigressy, my information, after speaking with the source, earlier today, is that it’s the opposite….
There are actually TWO differences that you may think are ONE…
But if you call it one you’ll only find eight
I read going to present it differently, but since you’ve already said that…
I need to look at what’s actually posted on Sherpa, in case something went wrong…. But I can’t get it to open yet.
I’ll be back asap.

One of the evil cat’s employees seems to be staring at Cleo. I hope they don’t have some evil surprise waiting for her if she opens one of the boxes.

I don’t know what’s going on…
but I’m back to getting locked out of GoComics.
So of course, I doze off waiting…
But before I go to bed, I want to give you the semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA’s animation solution…
so that she Can bi certain that all her kind work for us was not done in vain.
If you have tried your best… here is where to check your work….
https://i.postimg.cc/HsLD8vZZ/FTD-4-11-2020-AB.gif
That said… as Tigressy and I discussed, above… and ended up e-mailing each other to untangle…
There are TWO small differences, quite close together, that you may take for ONE… I did, until Stelbel told me they were separate…
Nighthawks… that’s the spot you know about.
But what Tigressy meant was a completely different spot in the puzzle, with ONE actual difference that she saw as TWO…
I almost did, as well, when I was solving it, so some of you may also see it as two.
Ergo… the official count is NINE… but you may think you’ve found only eight… or nine, or even ten… and you still could be correct.
The number doesn’t matter as much as this:
If the animation solution animates all the differences that you’ve found… they’re all correct…
and if your solution includes everything that you see moving in the animation… you’ve found them all
That’s clear… right? Um… right?
Tomorrow I can link to a list if anyone asks.
Right now… sleep awaits.
BTW .. I’ve always loved these gatherings of hatted or costumed Ballard St animals…
Kinda cracked me up that 10 years ago today, a poster named sidl got up on the wrong side of bed.
I just checked his/her profile… most of the comments were negative… the last were 8 years ago.
Including, on Argyle sweater…
“If this is the best you can do, leave the cartoon blank!!”

…and I still wonder how one of the golf clubs ended up in that vase and how Cleo managed to put a tag on Klaus.

Egads and zooks! I only got 8! So, that means I got them all? (I just think I missed one is all).
Thanks for the ‘history’ lesson, Susan. Love the first announcement! Nighthawks, you’ve come a loooooooooooong way! Love it!

So I counted one as two and missed an easy one completely — how do I count that?
