Petey is so disinterested in any of that.
margueritem over 14 years ago
I don’t think he’s disinterested, Leaky, as much as he’s truly embarrassed.

I think Petey’s just saying anything he can to get rid of Alice so he can read his comic in peace.

I suspect that Grandma is the mother’s mother, and I suspect that Petey is much more uninterested than he is disinterested.

The thing that worries me the most about Grandma is that probably, oh, eighty or ninety years ago, she resembled a certain little girl named Alice. No Polyfill or Grab Meister MEga Mitts, but the 19th century equivalents, surely.

@leakysqueaky712: He should be interested. How does he think he was born?

Josh 1360: “How does he think he was born?”
Josh, he probably has suspicions, but he’s FAR too embarrassed to get THOSE confirmed…

Cottonfill and Biggrabber asbestos mitts (ordered from the Sears catalog, she also had her hoop and a stick which she rolled all over the neighborhood and don’t forget Barnum Clownpants !

@Josh1360……….Born??
Since this is a cartoon, I’ll go out on a limb and say he was “created” by the artist.
p.s. and a dang good artist at that.

19th century??? I’m young enough to be Alice and Petey’s Grandma (sixty-ish) – if I was a woman!
MisterFweem over 14 years ago
@JP Steve Sorry, but saying 20th century just doesn’t sound old-timey enough.
