    Tony; your toon is one of the “fun” ones. I look forward to it each morning. In consideration, Agnes and Trout are “two nuts, bouncing about the bowl” they “complliment” each other.

    Hmmm… Does Trout appear to be a stuffed fish to all characters other than Agnes? We’ve seen her (Trout) share panels with adults and other kids, but does she interact with any of them?

    Or maybe Trout is a Tyler Durden-type of hallucination. Trout’s mother is actually Granny Picklepuss’s estranged daughter, who has lost custody of her own daughter (Agnes) at the hands of Child Protective Services. Agnes reconciles her conflicted loyalties by splitting her psyche in two, conjuring up an alter ego who conforms to her imaginings of what she would have been like, had she been raised by her real mother.
